These two came from the request list within days of each other. Borovets fills an obvious Bulgarian gap in the European map and Oberammergau completes the Ammergau Alps picture for riders planning a Bavaria trip. They are not a natural touring pair, but they sit in the same update because they are both compact, lift-served parks that reward knowing the trail layout before you arrive.
Both park pages are now live on Berm with mapped trail networks, lift details and current 2026 access information. The numbers below describe what Berm currently carries; open each guide to see how the lines connect.
Borovets Mountain Bike Park
Rila Mountains · Sofia Province, Bulgaria
Borovets is Bulgaria's oldest mountain resort, and its bike park runs through the Rila forests above the village on a range from long family-friendly flow to fast jump lines and technical race terrain. Berm currently maps 10 verified trail geometries served by the Sitnyakovo Express chairlift. The operator lists 15 maintained trails covering more than 55 kilometres, so the mapped count reflects what Berm has verified rather than every feature on the hill.
The 2026 season runs from 12 June through 27 September at an adult day pass of €29. A reloadable lift card gets a published 5% discount. Check the live lift and trail status at the resort before travelling; late-season conditions and individual terrain closures can change the available terrain.

SCOTT Bikepark Oberammergau
Ammergau Alps · Bavaria, Germany
Oberammergau is a compact hill rather than a sprawling resort. Two Easyloop-equipped drag lifts serve the Kolbensattel hillside, where machine-built flow sits alongside natural roots, a progressive jump line and tighter black technical trails. Berm currently maps 10 official trail geometries, including separate sections of the Flowtrail, Holzwurm and Wurzelsepp. It is a focused park where you can work through the full menu in a day without a lengthy transfer between sectors.
Trail entry is free; tickets cover the lifts. The adult full-day lift ticket is €34.50, with a four-hour option at €30 and a late-shift session from €32. The season runs April through November on a date-specific calendar with standard operating hours of 10:00–17:30 and published late shifts in the evening. Confirm the day's hours on the Bikepark Oberammergau website before setting off.
