Six French Alps bike parks are now on Berm

Six heavily requested French parks are now on the map, covering the Portes du Soleil, Chamonix and the huge linked terrain around Alpe d'Huez.

These six came straight from the park request list. Several of these parks share valleys or lift systems, but they are not interchangeable. The map needs to show where one riding zone ends and the next one starts.

Each park now has a Berm page with the mapped trail network, useful access details and a direct route into the full guide. The numbers below describe what is currently in Berm, not a promise that every line or lift is running today.

01

Bikepark Les Gets

Haute-Savoie · Portes du Soleil

Bikepark Les Gets was one of the names that kept returning on the request list. Berm now carries 139 mapped trails and 4 mapped lifts, giving you a quick read on the size and shape of the network before you choose a day to ride.

Use the map for route planning, then check the operator's own report for today's closures, access and opening hours.

Morzine Bike Park

Haute-Savoie · Portes du Soleil

The useful part of adding Morzine Bike Park is having the riding network in one view. The park page currently brings together 8 mapped trails and 4 mapped lifts, so the links between sectors and repeat laps are easier to spot before you arrive.

The map is the planning layer, not a live conditions board. Confirm current access and operating details with the park before setting off.

Châtel Bike Park

Haute-Savoie · Portes du Soleil

Châtel Bike Park is now in the directory after repeated requests from riders looking around Haute-Savoie · Portes du Soleil. Its Berm page shows 20 mapped trails and 4 mapped lifts without turning the planning job into a stack of separate tabs.

Open the full guide to inspect the network, and use the park's current report for weather holds, closures or changes to uplift and lift service.

Avoriaz

Haute-Savoie · Portes du Soleil

A trail count never tells the full story at Avoriaz, but it is a useful place to start. Berm currently shows 18 mapped trails and 10 mapped lifts, with the map doing the more important job of showing how those lines sit together.

That gives you the shape of the day; live trail status and operating hours can still move, so check them with the park before travelling.

Chamonix

Haute-Savoie · Mont Blanc

Chamonix fills a clear gap in the map for Haute-Savoie · Mont Blanc. The guide now includes 59 mapped trails and 21 mapped lifts, enough to understand the basic layout before working out access, timing and which part of the hill to ride first.

Berm helps with the route choice. Same-day conditions, closures and access still need a final check with the people running the park.

Alpe d'Huez

Isère · Grandes Rousses

Riders asked for Alpe d'Huez, so it is now part of the Berm catalog. The page puts 173 mapped trails and 51 mapped lifts into a single planning view and links that map directly to the rest of the park details.

Start with the map, build a sensible order for the day, and confirm any current closures or access changes on the official park channels.

These additions came from the rider request list. If your local park is still missing, send it over; that is the list I work from each week.

Use Berm to read the network, then check the operator for live closures, access and opening hours before travelling.
